How can I use the Admissions Community?
1. Connect with your friends and other students searching for colleges just like you
Students can post their "college search status", which is a short description of what they are doing right now in the college search process. You can find out what others, in similar circumstances, are doing and make sure you're on the right track.
2. Review college campuses you've visited
Almost everyone has visited a few college campuses, but not everyone can travel to all the schools they'd like. Help out! After you've visited a campus, fill out a quick review of your experience and post any pictures you took that day.
3. Ask questions to the community
Do you have a specific question but don't know who to ask? Post the question to our Q&A boards and get answers back from admissions experts. Then, pick the best answer so that others can find it quickly and easily. Question topics range from admissions essays to financial aid.
4. Read recommended articles
Students can check off tasks as they move through the admissions process. VirtualCollegeFairs will recommend helpful articles based on what you're working on right now. College admissions officers, high school guidance counselors, and other experts in the admissions field have contributed their best tips and advice.

Who gets my personal contact information?
No one without your permission
When you visit a college booth and click the "Submit my information" button, you are granting that college access to your contact info. If you put a school into your "Top 5", you may receive messages in your VCF box with information about that school, but it does not give them any of your personal contact data.
Be careful of other college websites
Other college websites take your personal information and sell it in lists to hundreds of colleges and Universities. Ever wonder why you receive so much junk mail from schools you've never heard of? Yeah...that's why.
